KETMinimum Entry Course Three: Elementary |
he Key English Test (KET) is the Cambridge ESOL exam which recognises the ability to deal with everyday written and spoken English at a basic level. Successful candidates receive a certificate from Cambridge which is recognised by employers worldwide. A KET certificate is valid for life. You will not need to take the exam again.
Is KET for you?
Can you communicate in familiar situations?
Do you have basic English skills?
Can you understand simple written English?
Can you understand short notices and simple spoken directions?
If this describes your skills now, or the level you are working towards, then KET is the right exam for you.
Our KET preparation classes are carefully structured to give students the ability to cope with the necessary exam skills, while activating their everyday English on a practical level. The course includes practice in:
* reading different types of texts and answering a variety of questions
* writing tasks including short emails, notes and postcards
* listening to recorded texts and answering both general and specific questions
* speaking activities related to meeting people, giving information and daily life
* grammar and vocabulary essential for this level of English language
Your level of English will be assessed by one of our teachers to check that you have the necessary level of language to take this course.
