Born and raised in Jerusalem in 1936, Yousef H. Awad attended college des Frerer in mid forties and late fifties. Mr. Awad pursued his higher education in Montana USA, in early sixties where he obtained his BA and MA degrees from both Rockey Mountain College and the University of Montana, respectively. Upon his return to Jordan, Mr. Awad worked as chief cultural affairs adviser at the American Embassy. This is where he gained his wide experience in English teaching services ( EFL).
 

In mid sixties the demand for English teaching was not only great but also attractive. It didn’t take Mr. Awad long before he decided to establish his own private center in order to meet the demand for English teaching.

All his dreams came true in late 1970, when he established the Modern Language Center and obtained its license as a private enterprise.
